Myra Niemeier
Work started on the agreed-upon date and continued on schedule. Tradesmen were always punctual, friendly and respectful of our home. The only significant delay was the result of a door manufacturing problem at the factory. The owner and his assistant were completely forthright in their dealings with us. There were some very small issues at the end that the contractor offered to fix that we said we would do because we could. The owner provided us with warranties and prices of items he purchased for the project. We are experienced in doing our own remodeling work, so we knew what was needed, when something was done improperly or conversely, superbly. Carpentry, drywall installation and finishing, electrical, and tile work were all done extremely well. The skill and care taken with the the tile work were simply outstanding. There was a problem with the installation of a German-manufactured shower system, but the owner of Happy Homes spent part of a day on-site with the plumber to trouble-shoot the problem. In the end, all parts were nicely installed. The only room for improvement would be to tighten up on the consistency of day-to-day communications, although problems or concerns were always addressed.
